Proserpine Shawl PDF Pattern

£5.00

Proserpine is a half-circle shawl designed to showcase a stunning 4-ply/fingering-weight yarn. Knitted mostly in easy stocking stitch, the shawl has small, beautiful lace sections that cleverly hide the increases.

Proserpine was inspired by 19th century English poet-artist Dante Gabriel Rossetti and his paintings of ancient myths - including one of Proserpine, the Roman Goddess of Spring. The leaves in the shawl call back to these ancient myths.

The pattern is both charted and fully written out.
